After making her début with the New York Philharmonic she gave concerts throughout the United States and Canada, appearing as soloist with the Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston and other orchestras. She taught at Juilliard and for the last ten years of her life at the Manhattan School of Music, where she was head of piano pedagogy. In 1980 she wrote The Piano Teacher’s Art.
