Misha Keylin

Russian-born violinist Misha Keylin is rapidly forging the major career promised by his phenomenal Carnegie Hall début at age 11. His exuberant musicality, keen interpretive insight and rare tonal beauty have earned critical and audience acclaim throughout the world. Noted for a wide range of repertoire, Keylin is attracting particular attention with his world-premiere complete three CD series of the seven Henry Vieuxtemps’ Violin Concertos, presently being released by Naxos. These recordings already sold over 75,000 copies worldwide and have garnered numerous press accolades and awards (such as “Critic’s Choice” by both The New York Times and Gramophone). Also in preparation are Naxos recordings of Vieuxtemps’ showpieces with orchestra and the violin concertos and showpieces of Max Bruch.
