The violinist Ariane Pfister was a pupil of Richard Odnoposoff and Max Rostal and winner of the Rio de Janeiro International Violin Competition. She has played under conductors such as Charles Dutoit, Howard Mitchell, Stanislaw Wislocki and Karl Richter and appeared in the Americas and in all major European music centres.
