Linda Dayiantis-Straub

Fluent in a wide range of styles, the Chicago soprano Linda Dayiantis-straub performs music ranging from baroque chamber works to twentieth century opera. She has worked with musicians as distinguished as Sir Peter Pears, Robert shaw, David Willcocks and Dave Brubeck and has won critical acclaim both at home and abroad, notably for her performances in music festivals in Europe and North America. In addition to her work with baroque ensembles such as Chicago's Basically Bach and Aradia, Linda Dayiantis-straub is active in contemporary music, exemplified in her performance of a work specially composed for her, Sweet Music's Power, by Jonathon Willcocks.
