Enrique Barrios

Audiences and orchestras around the world have shown enormous praise for this very talented and charismatic conductor, as well as for his rapidly growing career. He has been a regular guest-conductor with orchestras in Germany, France, England, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, Ireland, Hungary, United States, Canada, South America and México, conducting orchestras of great importance such as The Berlin and the San Diego Symphonies, The Orchestre Nationale du Capitole de Tolouse, the Irish National Orchestra, The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Geselschaft Zurich Orchestra, among others.

A versatile conductor, Enrique Barrios has conducted opera and ballet at the Moscow State Opera, Hungarian State Opera, Prague State Opera and Northern Irish State Opera, as well as the American Ballet Theatre. Ramón Vargas the great Mexican tenor has shown enormous respect for Barriosž work asking him to conduct concerts, tours and recordings on more than 40 occasions. Barrios studied with Abravannel, Bruck, Celebidache, Ferrara, Muti, Rachlin, and Zinman, in England, France, Italy, Germany, and The United States. He has obtained diverse distinctions in his career such as his triumph in the auditions of the ‘Hispanic Artist Fellowship’ in the United States. He has been selected by the press as ‘Conductor of the Year’ on many different occasions during the last decade.
