Peter Ettrup Larsen

Peter Ettrup Larsen trained at the Sibelius Academy in Finland, where he made his debut in 1993. In addition he has a diploma in clarinet from the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen and is a graduate in musicology and rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen. Peter Ettrup Larsen, who began his musical career at the age of 11 in the Tivoli Garden s Music Corps, has conducted many orchestras in Denmark and abroad. The Danish Radio Concert Orchestra has already performed several times with Peter Ettrup Larsen conducting, on radio and TV as well as at ordinary concerts. He has recorded a CD with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and the guitarist Kåre Norge. Alongside his conducting career he has worked since 1994 as a teacher at the Department of Musicology of the University of Copenhagen. In 1994 he was awarded the Gade Prize.
