Jacob Heringman was born in the USA but came to Britain to study lute and is now based in England. Besides solo work, specializing in the renaissance repertoire, he performs regularly with leading ensembles such as the New London Consort, the Dowland Consort, Taverner Players and Musica Antiqua of London.
