The tenor loan Micu was born in Romania, making his professional début there in 1979, with a repertoire that ranged from opera to oratorio. In 1987 he joined Bremen Opera and undertook guest engagements throughout Europe. He is now a principal singer with the Netherlands Radio Choir.
