Anthony McKay appeared on Broadway with the Negro Ensemble Company in The First Breeze of Summer and in Jean Kerrs Lunch Hour, directed by Mike Nichols and starring Gilda Radner. He was cast in the National Company of Moonchildren and performed at the McCarter Theatre, Stage West, Meadow Brook Theatre, and the Zephyr Theatre in San Francisco. As an educator, he has travelled to Russia where he taught students at the Moscow Art Theatre School. He also directed an American student production of The Grapes of Wrath in Moscow as part of the Carnegie Mellon graduate programme in drama, where he is head of acting and music theatre.
