Marco Vinco (b1977)

Born in Verona in 1977, Marco Vinco started his vocal training with Ivo Vinco and with Paola Molinari, soon appearing with the latter. After his début as Colline in Puccini’s La bohème at the Teatro Politeama di Lecce in 1999, he sang Nettuno in Stradella’s Barcheggio at the Festival Barocco di Fano, Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) in Trento and Count Rodolfo (La sonnambula) under Alberto Zedda. Further engagements took him to Florence and Bologna, and he won particular success at the Teatro dell’Opera in Roma in Massenet’s Le Jongleur de Notre Dame, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Venice and L’equivoco stravagante at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival. Marco Vinco sang Don Giovanni in Tourcoing and has appeared in Le nozze di Figaro at the Festival of Aix-en-Provence and in Le farse rossiniane at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. Other engagements include Figaro in Baden Baden and Aix-en-Provence, Tancredi at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Don Giovanni at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, and La pietra del paragone at Pesaro.
