Sten Wahlund

Sten Wahlund – The Doctor

Studied at the Royal Music and Opera Academies in Stockholm. Début at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1969. He has a repertory of around 100leading parts, recently he sang in Don Giovanni, Magic Flute, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Rigoletto, Don Carlos, Aida, Flying Dutchman, Meistersinger, Lohengrin, Ring des Nibelungen, Tristan und Isolde, Parsifal, Rosenkavalier and in Swedish operas A Dreamplay, The Bacchæ, Clara e.g. He also made guest appearances in opera houses in Denmark, Great Britain, France, Soviet Union and Germany.
