Vienna State Opera Chorus

The Concert Association of the Vienna State Opera Chorus (Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor), in its personnel virtually identical to the Chorus of the Vienna Staatsoper, takes part in all performances of the Chorus outside the Vienna Opera House, such as concerts, recordings, and appearances at the Salzburg Festival. Conductors who have worked with the Concert Association include a number of the most important artists of the twentieth century, among them Arturo Toscanini, Wilhelm Furtwängler, Hans Knappertsbusch, Bruno Walter, Karl Böhm, Clemens Krauss, Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, Carlo Maria Giulini, Sir Georg Solti, Marcello Viotti, Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano, and Seiji Ozawa.
