Chemnitz State Opera Chorus

The Chemnitz Opera Chorus was established in 1868 and is employed in opera, operetta and musicals, as well as in the concert-hall in major choral works performed with the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra. The chorus has 52 members and has been directed since 1976 by Dieter Wefing in a wide range of repertoire.
