Born in Kragujevac in former Yugoslavia, Ksenija Lukic studied singing in Belgrade, while graduating in Italian language and literature at the university there. She has sung more than fifty lyric and coloratura rôles, including Susanna, Musetta, Saffi, Adina, Rosalinde, and Anna-Elisa, at various theatres in Germany and abroad, and appeared as a soloist in many festivals and concerts. She participated in the recordings of Siegfried Wagner’s Schwarzschwanenreich, Sternengebot, and Die heilige Linde, and in the first performance of Wahnopfer.
