Jonathan Blumenfeld has been a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra oboe section since 1986. Previous to this he was a member of the Concerto Soloists and Savannah Symphony. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the Curtis Institute where he was a student of John de Lancie.
