Brought to attention by Yvonne Lefébure, Hélène Bellanger studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Aldo Ciccolini, completing her training in chamber music with Jacques Parrenin. After awards at the Conservatoire, she won the Radio France Prize in the Saint-Germain-en-Laye Debussy Competition. She enlarged her repertoire by studying contemporary music with Martine Joste and has taken part in a number of first performances in an active career as a soloist and in chamber music. From 1994 to 1999 she was invited to the royal court of Thailand in Bangkok, under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, where she gave master-classes in French music and European musical languages.
