The soprano Nathalie Paulin made her European debut as Iris in Semele at the Opernhaus Halle. She has toured the Czech Republic and further international engagements have taken her to Germany, the United States and Japan. She made her debut at l'Opéra de Montréal as Mélisande in Pelléas et Mélisande and with Chicago Opera Theater as Galatea in Acis and Galatea. She returned to Chicago Opera Theater for the title role in Semele and she has been heard as Constance in Les dialogues des Carmélites for Calgary Opera, Zerlina in Don Giovanni for l'Opéra de Québec, and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro for Cincinnati Opera. Other appearances include the title role in Massenet's Manon for l'Opéra de Québec and Nadia in La veuve joyeuse. Her Mozart roles have included Despina in Così fan tutte for Manitoba Opera and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro for Opera Atelier. She sang Créuse in Opera Atelier's Medée and also appeared with l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal in Messiah. She appeared as Andromède in Opera Atelier's Persée under Hervé Niquet, and has appeared with the same company as Amour in Rameau's Pygmalion, the Angel in Handel's La Resurrezione, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas and Damon in Acis and Galatea. She triumphed in the title role of La Calisto for the Canadian Opera Company.
